November 10, 2004 Meeting Minutes


  

The meeting was called to order at 7:05 pm and adjourned at 8:19 pm.  No one claimed the big fish pot.  Special guests were Bob Higbee from Angler’s Marine and  Josh Brannon a new member.  

Program Activity:  There was no program activity.

Tips, Tactics and Techniques:   Chris Ferry talked about some new type of jigheads.   Mike Hostetter is up for January.

Raffle: The raffle generated $44.

Treasurer’s Report:  Mike Buse reported a balance of $3,069.46 with $745 still to be paid out.

Minutes: The October minutes as posted on the Internet were approved.

Conservation Report:  No Report.

Federation Report: Chuck Warner reported that next year’s Federation Tournaments will be two         weekends making up four one-day tournaments.

Tournament Report: Joe Schepperle reported that Lake Washington was won by Doug Jorgensen with Mike Buse taking 2^nd and Kenny G. taking 3^rd.

Safety: Be careful and stay warm this winter.

Old Business: Frank White handed out flyers about the club banquet which will be held Dec. 11^th @ 7pm at BBQ Pete’s on 72^nd and Portland (Tacoma).  Contact Frank by December 1^st to confirm your spot.

New Business:  Tom M. made a motion regarding ties in the format for Angler of the Year.  This will be voted on in January.
