Meeting Minutes October 13th, 2021

Called to order: 7:07 PM

Special guest:  None

Meeting Minutes:  The September minutes as posted on our web site was approved.

Tips & Tactics: None

Treasurers Report:  Balance of $4,469.00. New year dues are due. Pay by December 21st. $850 was collected for Mary Bridge Hospital from the Mickelsen Open. $180 collected from Tri-cities and Lake WA tournaments. Club agreed to pay for the Mickelsen Trophies instead of pulling it from the Mickelsen pot. This will give Mary Bridge more money.

Conservation: Mark talked to Kenny from WDFW. He is now in charge of the Warm Water department. Fish habitats are going to be added to other lakes besides Potholes. Doug mentioned that he saw Muckelshoot Tribe was netting on Lake Washington north of 520 bridge. WDFW official said MS Tribes plan is to wipe out the bass in Lake Washington.

Big Fish of the Year:  Jack Bryant won $580 with a 6.10lb big fish of the year.

Tournament Report: Rich shared the tournament results to Tri-Cities, Mickelsen, and Lake Washington.

Safety:  None

Federation: Dez won Co-angler for the TBF semi-finals at Ten Mile, Oregon.

New Business: Doug opened up for discussion about club members not volunteering to help club events. More specifically the Mickelsen Open. If we don’t get volunteers for our only Open then we’ll not have the Mickelsen Open anymore. Tim Griswold offered an idea of creating a team that’ll be in charge of running the Open. Every member needs to re-read the by-laws about club participation because most members are not meeting the requirement and if we don’t get more help then the officers will start enforcing the by-laws.

Old business: The club voted on a constitutional amendment that was proposed last month. The club voted in favor for “Culling of dead fish is not allowed once that bass enters the live well”

Meeting adjourned: 8:02
