Meeting Minutes for July 2018
Meeting called to order at 7:12 PM
Treasurerís report: Joe Scheperle was present, but
forgot the bank statement and checkbook at home. He did
say that we had sufficient funds and we had to pay the
state $10 to maintain our non-profit status. Joe
later added this information:
Deposit ; 6/15 $500.05 ,7/1 $30 for Joe Andruyan club
dues, 7/13 $20 club raffle total of $550.05 ,expenses :
6/23 bass federation $210, 7/4 state treasury $10, 7/6
WDFW $564. Total out $784. Balance in account $1853.51
as of 7/13.
Tip and Tactics: Joe Scheperle was on for this
month. Joe talked about maintaining your batteries and
different battery types. Greg Milatz is on for next
Minutes: Keith was not present and he did not send
the minutes to Tom last month, so we did not have the
meeting minutes. We will read them next month.
Conservation: No report
Tournament Report: Umatilla is coming up next month.
We have moved the launch to Irragon. It is a better
launch for us if the weather is windy. Moses launch was
also moved to Connelly Park due to the City of Moses
Lake requiring $2 million dollars of aggregated
insurance coverage. We did lose $60 permit filing fee to
the City of Moses Lake.
Fishing Reports:Tapps is fishing good, but the
Columbia is fishing tough right now.
Safety: Use more caution on the water. Lots of
dangerous and discourteous boaters on the lakes right
now. Donít assume that the see you.
Federation: Ryan Gates was top Hawg Hunter at the
Lake Washington Federation event on the boater side.
Clark Korper was the top on the non-boater side.
New Business: We are going to order more hats and
t-shirts for the club to sell.
Old Business: We voted on Rich Craftís proposal from
last month that in 2019 tournaments non-piercing culling
pins have to be used. The motion passed.
