Doug will be running the big fish pot again for the 2019 tournament
season. $20 buy in, winner take all for whoever catches the biggest
fish in a club tournament during the 2019 season. Fish has to be
caught during a club tournament and the $20 has to be paid before
the start of the tournament day.
Tactics: Luke Morgan spoke on different hook set techniques
depending on line used and type of lures. Luke recommended a video
Greg Hackney did on it. Josh Lucas is up for next month.
Minutes: A motion was made and passed to accept last monthís
meeting minutes as posted on our website.
Joe said we paid out $2982.22 for dues, Mary Bridge and some related
expenses. We have a balance of $4440.31 with club trophies still to
pay for. We currently only have 40 paid members.
Conservation: Nothing new. Eddie is still working with the
state. WDFW biologists would like to come to all of our club events
to collect data.
Report: The 2019 season events are posted on the club website
and there are Facebook events on our Facebook page. See Eric Hill
for access to our memberís only Facebook page. All tournament
conflicts have been resolved. Berkley is hosting a Big Bass event
on Potholes on May 18 that will give away a boat.
Business: Klutz awards. We had many nominees. A vote was taken
and we have a winner. It was a tight race. The winner will be
announced at the banquet.
February 2nd at 7 pm at Mama Stortiniís down in Sumner.
Cocktail hour starts at 6 pm with a no host bar. Costs are $29 per
person. Pay Jaymee. He does need a headcount before the event so the
restaurant knows how much food to prepare for the night.
Business: Club hats, t-shirts and hoodies are available to
order. Get your order and money into Mark Mrzena. James House is
looking at having club stickers made up. Seems like a good idea and
he is going to move forward with it.
