Meeting Minutes for January 2019

Meeting was called to order at 7:12 pm.

No special guest.

No Program activity.

Big Fish: Doug will be running the big fish pot again for the 2019 tournament season. $20 buy in, winner take all for whoever catches the biggest fish in a club tournament during the 2019 season. Fish has to be caught during a club tournament and the $20 has to be paid before the start of the tournament day.

Tip and Tactics: Luke Morgan spoke on different hook set techniques depending on line used and type of lures. Luke recommended a video Greg Hackney did on it. Josh Lucas is up for next month.

Meeting Minutes: A motion was made and passed to accept last monthís meeting minutes as posted on our website.

Treasury: Joe said we paid out $2982.22 for dues, Mary Bridge and some related expenses. We have a balance of $4440.31 with club trophies still to pay for.  We currently only have 40 paid members.

Conservation: Nothing new. Eddie is still working with the state. WDFW biologists would like to come to all of our club events to collect data.

Tournament Report: The 2019 season events are posted on the club website and there are Facebook events on our Facebook page. See Eric Hill for access to our memberís only Facebook page. All tournament conflicts have been resolved.  Berkley is hosting a Big Bass event on Potholes on May 18 that will give away a boat.

New Business: Klutz awards. We had many nominees. A vote was taken and we have a winner. It was a tight race. The winner will be announced at the banquet.

Banquet is February 2nd at 7 pm at Mama Stortiniís down in Sumner. Cocktail hour starts at 6 pm with a no host bar. Costs are $29 per person. Pay Jaymee. He does need a headcount before the event so the restaurant knows how much food to prepare for the night.

Old Business: Club hats, t-shirts and hoodies are available to order. Get your order and money into Mark Mrzena. James House is looking at having club stickers made up. Seems like a good idea and he is going to move forward with it.

Meeting adjourned at 8:15 pm
