Ken Ganancial runs away with Pot Holes Tournament

 Lake Sammamish

   Banks Lake Enhancement 
On April 25th 2004 the club had 9 club members participate in the Banks Lake Enhancement Project by loading, transferring and placement of habitat structure with Lou Nevsmal (BLEP Coordinator). Club members attending were  Larry Guck, Doug Jorgensen, Gerald Dunn, Tom Melowitz, Bryan Vance, Blaine Wesner, Marv Walker, Chris Ferry and B.W. Davis.  Larry Guck, club Conservation Director will, at the May club meeting,  present a proposal to schedule a second trip to Banks Lake to ensure maximum support for the project which will end this year.
Western Regionals

Due to several members of the Washington State Federation Team opting to not fish the BASS Western Regionals on Lake Powell this year Tom Melowitz has been added to the team.  The tournament is May 19 through the 21st.



  Lake Sammamish 

We had 27 teams fish the lake Sammamish Open on Saturday April 3rd.  The tournament was won by Scott Long and Steve Sherer who caught 5 fish 14.69 pounds  just edging out the 2nd and 3rd place finishers.

Paul Jones caught the big fish, a 4.93 pound smallie.  Club members fishing included Troy Graham (4th Place), Paul Jones (10th Place), Wes Williams ( 12th Place), Rick Knauer and Ken Brainerd (16th place), Mike Hostetter, and Joe Scheperle & Art Soto.  Many thanks to the club members that worked at the Sammamish Open.   Mike Buse reported that the club made $662 on entries and $289 on the raffle.  Complete results are on the Web.

     Lake Sammamish  

We had 29 members with 18 boats fish the club tournament on Lake Sammamish on Sunday April 4th.  Congratulations to Bryan Vance for winning and catching the big fish.  Bryan weighed 14.13 pounds, far above everyone else.  Second place went to Mike Hostetter and third place to Ken Ganancial.  Complete results are on the Web.

   Pot Holes Results
We had 26 members with 18 boats fish the May 1st and 2nd club tournament on Pot Holes.  Congratulations to Ken Ganancial for first place, Rick Knauer for second place and Marv Walker for third place.  Rick also had the big fish a 4.40 pound smallie caught on Saturday in Lind Coulee.  Many thanks to Larry Williams who did a great job as Tournament Director standing in for Joe Scheperle.  Complete tournament results are on the Web.
