Puyallup Hawg Hunters

Eric Woods - Washington Winner

 Lake Washington Guide

         Jamboree News

Paul Jones reported that the club has secured our usual camping sites, at the far north end of Coulee Playland, for the Jamboree.  They are available on a first come basis.  Tents should be set up to the rear if possible.  The club will be running the Kids Casting Contest on Sunday and all club members are expected to participate.  It will be a full moon during the Jamboree so the fish should be on beds and the fishing should be outstanding!

          Banks Lake
     Conservation Day
At the May club meeting the club agreed to work at Banks Lake in July to fulfill the club's conservation requirements.  When the date is finalized, club members are urged to participate!  We will need at least 6 club members participating to meet our requirements.  Free camping will be provided by Coulee Playland.

      Lake Washington

Eric Woods, pictured above,  won big fish and 1st place at the Lake Washington club tournament.  This was Eric's very first win!  Congratulations to Eric!  A. J. Juhl was second and Franco Stone was third.  Congratulations to A. J. and Franco.  See the complete results on the Results Page.  28 club members fished and caught 20 fish.

Lake Roosevelt
   Federation Qualifier

The club finished 7th at Lake Roosevelt with 119 pounds of fish for 2 days.  Paul Jones finished in 23rd place.  The fishing was outstanding with 440 fish caught by 107 anglers on day 1.  Crank Baiting produced the winning stringers!
The state team members urge the club to select Roosevelt in May next year for a club tournament.

     Duck Lake Family
Blaine Wesner, the Lake Washington guide pictured above, has secured the picnic grounds at Duck Lake on July 20th for a club family day.  Blaine is working on the details and will report back to the club at the June club meeting.
