8, 2001 Meeting Minutes
The meeting began at 7:03 PM and
adjourned at 7:50 PM. Paul Jones Claimed the big fish pot with a 6.0
pound smallie caught at Lake Washington. The special guest
attending was Ryan Gates a perspective new member.
Program Activity: Paul Jones and Steve Holets provided information on fishing Pend Oreille. Paul passed out maps and launch information.
Raffle: There was no raffle because Darrell Matson was absent.
Treasurerís Report: The current balance is $2921. Outstanding bills include $119 for a tarp and $20 for vests.
Minutes: The April minutes as written on the Intenet were accepted.
Banquet Report: No report.
Conservation Report: No report.
Federation Report: Steve Holts reported that John Semken was going to the Classic.
Tournament Report: The club finished 6th at Tri Cities. Frano Stone was 16th and Dave Haraway was 22nd. Dave had big fish day 1. Hours for the Duck Lake tournament will be 6:00 am - 3:00 pm on Saturday and 6:00 am - 1:00 pm on Sunday. Dave Stressner will be looking into alternatives for Pend Oreille and Vantage should there be insufficient water to launch. Tom Melowitz will be the Tournament Director for Pend Oreille since Kevin will not be fishing. Pictured above are members of the State Team at Tri Cities working hard on there next days strategy.
Mary Bridge Donations: No Report.
Safety: Please bring in a copy of your boating safety certificate and to give it to the secretary at the next meeting. These copies will be kept on file with the club.
Old Business: None.
Gerald Dunn will be investigating getting club hats and shirts and will report
back to the club at the June meeting.
Klutz Nominations: Tom Melowitz was nominated for crunching a rod in his rod locker at Lake Sammamish.
