March 10, 2004 Meeting Minutes

The meeting began at 7:00 pm and adjourned at 8:40 pm.  Joe Scheperle claimed the big fish pot with a 4.5 pound smallie.  Special guests attending were  Chris Ferry, Troy Graham and B. W. Davis.

Tics, Tactics and Techniques:  Gerald Dunn talked about pre-trip and bearing maintenance.

Program Activity:   None. 

Raffle:  The raffle generated $106.

Treasurerís Report:  Mike Buse reported a balance of $2176.24.

Minutes:  The February minutes were accepted as posted on the website.

Conservation Report:  Larry Guck reported that we are signed up for planting trees and structure on Banks Lake on April 24th at 8:30 am.

Federation Report:  No report

Tournament Report: Blaine Wesner and Jamie Wegmann reported catching 4 fish in 30 feet on Lake Sammamish.  The club tournament on Tri Cities conflicts with the ABA Classic.  The club voted to move to a new location to be determined at a later date.  The Lake Sammamish Open drivers meeting is at 5:45 am.  The drivers meeting for the club tournament the next day is 6:00 am. 

Safety: Larry Williams talked about updating your equipment to ensure that it is safe.

Old Business:  Ken Ganancial stepped down from the state team.  He was replaced by Gerald Dunn.  The club jig pour will be March 21st at 8:00 am at Timco.  Timco is located at 1926 Port of Tacoma Road on the tide flats in Tacoma.

New Business:  The club assigned buddies to the new members.
