Program Activity: None
Tips, Tactics and Techniques: Larry Williams was on for February but forgot that there was a meeting. In January Hoss talked about throwing reaction baits on windy flats. His talk covered jerk baits, spinner baits and crank baits. Larry is still on for March.
The committee is to start presenting the
club with options
by the June club meeting. Joe Scheperle and Mack Randle are also looking into some options
present to the club.
Raffle: The raffle generated $56. Since we are not generating enough raffle items, each club member is to bring at least one raffle item to March's meeting.
Treasurerís Report: No report
Minutes: The January minutes as posted on the Internet were approved.
Conservation Report: Marv Walker talked about building net pens for the Pot Holes an asked when would be a good time of the year to do it. He is still researching other projects.
Federation Report: Chuck Warner was absent. Gerald talked about the benefits of going with FLW. and made a motion for the club to leave B.A.S.S. 19 votes in favor of Gerald's motion with 0 that were opposed. Tom M. made a motion to reword the club's constitution to exclude and not use B.A.S.S. in the wording. Joe Scheperle also made a motion to rewrite the constitution and present it to the club after it has been rewritten. The club majority voted in favor of Joe's motion. Tournament Report: Please contact Tom Melowitz if you would like for him to reserve you a camp site at the Riffe Lake tournament on June 17th and 18th. Tom would also like to have the club cook out that weekend since Lake Sammamish is the September tournament.
Fishing Report: Dan Iwamoto caught a nice large mouth in 35 ft. of water on Lake Washington with football head and grub
Doug Jorgensen talked about checking all required
safety equipment for 2006 including
Flare expiration dates, floatation devices, etc. If you get caught without a
on and the kill switched attached with the gas motor running during a club
you will be disqualified.
Old Business: B.A.S.S. will refund the club the money the club sent to them for 2006 Federation Membership because we did not join the Federation Nation.
Klutz Nominations: Larry Williams was nominated because he forgot that there was a club meeting.
