December 8, 2010 Meeting Minutes

The meeting was called to order by Vice President Joe Scheperle at 7:02 pm and adjourned at 8:45 pm.  No one claimed the Big Fish pot.
Special guests attending were Russ Baker and Griffin Coffey.

Program Activity: None

Tips, Tactics and Techniques: Chris Ferry talked about fishing with spoons.  He uses bigger 1-3oz spoons.  Vertical fishing is the most productive spoon fishing and 90% of the bites come on the fall.  Casting also works with a yoyo retrieve when fishing more shallow areas.  Spoon fishing will work in Washington but Chris says its much more effective in other states like California and numerous southern states.  He advises to use a good swivel to avoid line twist and be ready to set the hook!  Frank White is on for February.
