December 8, 2010 Meeting Minutes

The meeting was called to order by Vice President Joe Scheperle at 7:02 pm and adjourned at 8:45 pm.  No one claimed the Big Fish pot.
Special guests attending were Russ Baker and Griffin Coffey.

Program Activity: None

Tips, Tactics and Techniques: Chris Ferry talked about fishing with spoons.  He uses bigger 1-3oz spoons.  Vertical fishing is the most productive spoon fishing and 90% of the bites come on the fall.  Casting also works with a yoyo retrieve when fishing more shallow areas.  Spoon fishing will work in Washington but Chris says its much more effective in other states like California and numerous southern states.  He advises to use a good swivel to avoid line twist and be ready to set the hook!  Frank White is on for February.

The generated $40.

Treasurerís Report:
Wayne Bailey reported a balance of $3365.49.

The November minutes as posted on the Internet were approved.

The club is still pondering the idea of selling Solar Bat sun glasses through the TBF promotion. The clubs must come to a decision on whether they purchase Solar Bat's with the intent to sell or to just pass on the fund raiser all together.  All TBF officers have verbally stated that they will be stepping down and the seats need to be filled in 2011.

Tournament Report: The clubs open tournament books have been found and turned over to Aaron Christel. Larry now has the kids casting equipment (hula hoops and rods).  Clubs scales will be ready for March and Kenny has the back ups.
