11, 2004 Meeting Minutes
The meeting was called to order at 7:05 PM and adjourned at
8:27 PM. Special guest attending was Trenton George Ganancial. No
one claimed the big fish pot which has $10.
Program Activity: None
Tips, Tactics and Techniques: Tom Melowitz talked about tying knots. Kenny G will talk at the next meeting.
raffle generated $44.
Treasurerís Report: Mike Buse reported a balance of $1850.06.
Minutes: The minutes from July were accepted as posted on the Internet.
Banquet Report: Frank and Stephanie will take care of the Banquet at Longhorns.
Conservation Report: The
Banks Lake Enhancement Project is looking for help.
Safety: No report.
Federation Report: Doug talked about the BASS membership drive.
Tournament Report: We will be launching at the Dam at Roosevelt. The drivers meeting will be at 5:00 am on Saturday. Hours are 5:30 am - 2:30 pm on Saturday and 5:30 am - 12:30 pm on Sunday. Drink lots of water and use sun block.
Old Business: none.
New Business: Tom had a call from Safeway about a charity tournament. They asked to use our scales. Doug will give them a call. Both Strasbaugh's paid their membership dues. Mike Buse was nominated for Treasurer. Gerald Dunn was nominated for Secretary. Larry Williams was nominated for Tournament Director. Doug said the president appointed the Tournament Director. Larry Williams presented the 2005 proposed Tournament Schedule: April 3 - Lake Sammamish, May 14 - Silver Lake, June 11-12 Snake River - Boyer Park, July 16-17 Tri Cities, August 20-21 Lower Columbia - Camas, September 10-11 Potholes, October 16 Lake Washington. Sammamish, Washington and Silver will be draw tournaments.
